William Alexander Fraser (writer) is recently created. It looks like there is no wp:primary topic, so both pages should be disambiguated with parenthesis. Also, William Alexander Fraser (disambiguation) should be created as a redirect to William Alexander Fraser if this move is done. ~ Ase1estecharge-paritytime 11:03, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose A Canadian senator has more long-term significance, and should remain as the primary topic. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 15:03, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support both these guys are pretty obscure. It's hard to say in terms of long term significance, and the writer has more pageviews, so I favor disambiguation. (t · c) buidhe 19:58, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nomination. The seven-sentence stub for the politician is not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Furthermore, the two-man William Alexander Fraser (disambiguation) page should not have even been created per WP:ONEOTHER. Even if neither man is primary, there is no need for a two-man split-off from the all-inclusive William Fraser disambiguation page. Anyone searching for a politician or a writer named "William Fraser" or the full form, "William Alexander Fraser", can simply consult the all-inclusive William Fraser dab page under the section header specifying the appropriate profession and have it all sorted out. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 23:44, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
