Correct last name[edit]

de Mille or deMille or DeMille? Snowman (talk) 20:45, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article states that he used the name "deMille" ... if this is correct, shouldn't the name of the article be changed to reflect the lower case letter "d" ...? (Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 03:53, 22 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
I requested that this page be renamed and moved to reflect the lower-case "d" in William C. deMille's last name. An administrator did rename the article and move the page. The article William C. DeMille (upper-case "D") redirects now to William C. deMille (lower-case "d"). Thanks. (Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 18:54, 22 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
William's young brother, Cecil B. DeMille's family name starts from "D". What's the Difference?--121.3.127.32 (talk) 11:32, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
As I understand the article, it should be "de Mille". It is also spelled that way throughout the article. Therefore I feel that the name (title) of the article should also read "de Mille", not "deMille" as is currently the case.Otto von B. (talk) 12:39, 15 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Place of birth[edit]

Was William C. deMille born in Washington, DC or Washington, NC? There are discrepancies in various sources. Does anyone know the correct location? Thanks. (Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 04:10, 22 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
