This article misses out a lot of information such as Newton's conflict of interest (Chaloner had applied to work at the Mint and essentially take Newton's job), such as the fact that Newton would pardon a person from the gallows if they would accuse two others, and the fact that the evidence against Chaloner was contradictory and inconsistent. Some histories from near the time sided heavily with Newton. In the article on Isaac Newton it is mentioned that Chaloner was drawn and quartered but is omitted in this article.--Jrm2007 (talk) 07:30, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The book by Levenson does not indicate that Chaloner was drawn and quartered, only hanged.--Jrm2007 (talk) 11:53, 31 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
