Current comments[edit]

The text says Roth is a republican, but the sidebar a Democrat. Based on what I've read he is a republican, and thus I've changed the sidebar.

Bridge dedication[edit]

Six years later and it still refers to the announcement as "recent" so I updated. Someone who enjoys messing with Wikipedia's clunky syntax may have fun with the following: http://www.deldot.gov/information/media_gallery/2007/roth_bridge_ceremony/ --71.200.35.243 (talk) 01:10, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Move. Cúchullain t/c 13:42, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bill Roth (politician)William Roth

  • WP:PRIMARYTOPIC: Senator Roth has the most real world influence, by being a US Senator for 30 years and the namesake of the Roth IRA, far outweighing Bill Roth (sportscaster) or William M. Roth.
  • WP:COMMONNAME: The senator was more popularly known as William than Bill. The Associated Press 2003 obituary uses "William" [1], as does a Boston Globe article from 2000 [2]. Furthermore, a google search for "William Roth" + "Roth IRA" returns ~17k results, vs. ~3.5k for "Bill Roth" + "Roth IRA". Arbor to SJ (talk) 16:25, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. Looks like the article has been flung about to various titles in the past little while but I think plain "William Roth" suits it best. Nohomersryan (talk) 18:49, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
