Merge discussion

This article is without any history section or photos, however these exist on the Wolf Rock, Cornwall page and it seems stupid to duplicate them. This page has a good infobox because of the lighthouse theme so it seems good to keep that. This page has slightly more links to it – most of the links to the rock article are about shipwrecks but these relate just as much to the history of the lighthouse. There's not much to say about the rock beyond its position. Chris55 (talk) 14:32, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge. For the reasons given above. Longships and Longships Lighthouse should also be merged. See Bishop Rock Lighthouse as an example. Jowaninpensans (talk) 20:45, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting: That is a case where the lighthouse is a section within the Bishop Rock article. Is this a better pattern to follow? Chris55 (talk) 08:52, 8 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Don't find it a problem with such small articles. Jowaninpensans (talk) 09:35, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Merge. Agree that it is doubtful that the rock on its own is notable...Jokulhlaup (talk) 15:32, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
