Wholesale changes[edit]

Twice in the last two days there has been significant editing of this page, involving wholesale removal of sourced content and the addition of poorly sourced information. A lot of the new information is biographical, and concerns two people (Henry Le Strange and Sir John Betjeman) whose connection with the station is tenuous. Neither of these two people is mentioned on the only newly-cited source: http://www.wolfertonroyalstation.co.uk/

There has also been unnecessary ancillary damage, like the alteration of image formats, the breakage of links and the removal of valid categories. It's as if the entire page was stripped out and something else was pasted in its place. I would like the proposed additional material to be discussed here please. --Redrose64 (talk) 23:17, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rather late reply but I would support the comments regarding wholesale unsupported/unconstructive modifications and addition of irrelevant material. I would also add that certain of the changes made between 2 February and 4 February need review. Once I get my hands on the new edition of Jenkins work, I will attempt a clean-up of this article.
