Entry[edit]

WSC's entry is not unlike entries from other nonprofit organizations listed on Wikipedia. We did careful research and editing to respond to comments and conform to the guidelines. WSC's Wikipedia entry is now linked to the Career Pathways Wikipedia entry. Career Pathways is a growing movement that has emerged over the past decade in the U.S. of which WSC is a part.Buckleyre (talk) 15:29, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1. WSC has received extensive media coverage in the trade press. Our work has also been featured by national and regional media including: National Public Radio, The Christian Science Monitor, NY1 News, The Boston Globe, The Portland Oregonian, The Greensboro News & Record, and Santa Cruz Sentinel. Just today we were profiled in The Providence Journal [1]. Several stories are posted at our web site [2]. 2. Our work was recently highlighted in an award winning video produced by the KnowledgeWorks Foundation [3]. 3. A Google “link to;” search shows that over 1,000 organizations have links to the Workforce Strategy Center web site [4]. A review of these links shows the organizations to be key policy, educational, foundation, nonprofit and government groups at the national, state and local levels. 4. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working in the public trust, dissemination of promising practice is a key aspect of our mission. In 2007, 116,938 distinct visitors visited our web site or an average of 320.38 per day. Those visitors downloaded 92,316 WSC tools and publications. We are happy to provide back-up to support this data. Jalssid (talk) 14:12, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

*You've recently asserted the importance of Workforce Strategy Center including references that you feel assert the notability of said organization. Have you added those sources to the article yet? Adding the sources to the deletion discussion is not the same thing as adding them to the article. Please let me know if you need assistance with how to do this. Thanks, Keeper | 76 01:21, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your suggestions. As you can tell I am new at this. We have added some links to mainstream and trade coverage of our work. Several of the publications charge for access to their archived material so I am not sure how to add cite them in the article. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
