NPOV tag[edit]

Is whoever put the NPOV tag in going to say what they thought was NPOV about the article?

I'm going to be bold and delete the reference to the "making work for families" as it's unsourced and doesn't make a lot of sense. If anyone wants to make a case for its retention, they're welcome to. --Tirana 01:46, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I do not support NPOV tag. The programme has received critiscm from both sides of the political spectrum. This is represented in the article. Also, the programme, despite being a flagship of the labour government and costing a lot to redistribute societies wealth, it does not address some sections of society. That is well accepted. Where is the explicit POV? Withit 08:34, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article ash undergone considerable glossing which takes out criticism. instead, it places more emphasis on details of the package, but neglects to contrast this with a wider context for social welfare in NZ. This is supposed to be an encyclopedia article, not a profile of recent reforms—Fred114 06:56, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is still some criticism listed in the article, and I've updated it for more recent criticisms. There is supposedly an evaluation of the reform to be done, which could be added to the article. Also updated this article similar to the Working tax credit article including more information on what it does. Some statements on its effect need references added, plus a discussion on its role in NZ social welfare history would be useful--wikicharlie23 10:37, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
