Girls or Women[edit]

This article uses both. Which is correct? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.97.18.12 (talk) 01:13, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

women. "girls" sort of fades away as a neutral term during the teenage years, after which it begins to suggest a degree of familiarity, which is inappropriate here. Their next of kin might well talk of "our girls" but we should stick to women.2.103.197.76 (talk) 20:21, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Update and Major Restructuring[edit]

This article needs major work, updating and restructuring. In particular, the legal issues arising out of HMA V Sinclair need to be discussed, and significant details from the trial documented. Because the article is currently small, and hasn't been significantly added to or edited in some time, I have just gone ahead and done this. If anyone wants to discuss the changes or anything else relating to the article, feel free to get in touch. SpectroscopicJ (talk) 21:03, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

information on suspect?[edit]

Automatically directed to this page by a search on the name of the suspect: 2011, he was referred to by the BBC as a "convicted killer and serial rapist". Is this accurate? If so, was there a retrial or was it some other case? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.52.107.167 (talk) 02:47, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
