Medalists table[edit]

At Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Contract bridge#Championships this hour I have reported conversion to new-style Medalist tables to be essentially complete for "World Championships" articles, and I have solicited comment on a couple matters with pointers to this page for one (retaining the column dedicated to reporting the number of Entries).

Before signing off for the day I have introduced yet another alternative style here in the first row only (neutral background color for the old Entries column).

See World Junior Pairs Championship#European Youth Pairs for three pairs tournaments in a single Medalist table —namely, the Juniors, Youngsters, and Girls flights of the Youth Pairs, but the same might be used for Open, Women, and Seniors flights in some meets. --P64 (talk) 23:28, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Size of field[edit]

Only 130 pairs for the 13th rendition in 2014, identical to the first rendition in 1966, and following eight consecutive tournaments with more than 400 entries!

The size of the field October 2014 in Sanya, China, may be worth comment in some of the championships articles --or even at World Bridge Series Championships.
