Move?[edit]

If it's now known as the World Organisation for Animal Health, then shouldn't this be moved to World Organisation for Animal Health]? Wikipedia convention is surely to use current names, and as far as I can tell OIE is still used officially but Office international des épizooties isn't. 81.159.57.7 (talk) 22:58, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to suggest a criticism section will be necessary[edit]

There is a lot of methodologically robust, published science, in reputable academic journals, which has been subject to stringest peer-review processes, calling into doubt the intentions of this organisation, and demonstrating the validity of its claims to be negligible. The world organisation for animal health seems to promote the use of antibiotics, under the claim that current use is necessary to provide animal protein and thereby ensure humans have access to necessary food sources. This neglects the fact that we do not need animal protein to be healthy, that in fact what they are promoting is directly working against human health by promoting antibiotic resistance, and the sustaining the industrial scale animal agricultural industry does quite the opposite of this groups claims, namely improving animal health.
