Wikiproject Chicago?[edit]

Why is this article within the scope and rated by wikiproject Chicago, Illinois? These concerts took place in Cleveland, Ohio. MM DENE (talk) 20:24, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There was at least one show in the Chicago area. I think it was 1976. If this article is only about the shows in Cleveland it should be moved to World Series of Rock (Cleveland). Thundermaker (talk) 21:42, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The 1976 World Series of Rock was cancelled because stadium officials would not allow on-field seating on the new turf and Aerosmith would not agree to those conditions. Subsequently, a promoter in Chicago co-opted the name for their Aerosmith concert at Comiskey Park. Although the name was the same, that concert is unrelated to the subject of this article. Unless an article on the Chicago concert is created, which seems unlikely, no disambiguation is necessary. Piriczki (talk) 13:29, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Concert lineups[edit]

There should be a note in the lineups that the list of bands are per poster billing (headlning act is listed first), rather than by schedule (headliner performs last) AngusWOOF (barksniff) 13:53, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
