Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because...

We intend to fix this page. I've contacted one of the Gamer's Lounge hosts and he should be able to help find relivant Gamers Lounge discussions on Wyrd and Malifaux (and probably more).

Wyrd is known mostly for the Tabletop Skermish game Malifaux and Wyrd is usually mentioned as a footnote to the discussion.

They also made some sort of deal with Terra Clips who makes Malifaux-themed terrain as well as other terrain. http://www.terraclips3d.com/

Wyrd has also had two sucessfully-funded Kickstarter projects.

Through the Breach http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1334239018/through-the-breach-a-malifaux-roleplaying-game

Evil Baby Orphanage http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1334239018/evil-baby-orphanage-0

Wyrd also has a product called Puppet Wars.

Wyrd (but mostly it's products) have been talked about on Gamers Lounge and other Podcast websites. I need to track down the other Podcast sites.

http://gamerslounge.coda.net -- Podcasts onMalifaux, Warhammer 40K, and a few other games.

http://theaethervox.com/ -- Podcast

http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/tag/malifaux/ -- Product Reviews.

http://www.beastsofwar.com/malifaux/ -- Covered the Malifaux RPG Kickstart.com and some product releases.

http://www.belloflostsouls.net/ -- Reviews of Malifaux, Warhammer 40K.

There is a ton of information about this company if you search for Malifaux.

I'm currently contacting people to see if they will help update the articles with secondary source material. I think the entire article will need to be rewritten from the ground up. Wyrd is now more of a Game Company than just a Miniature Company that the article suggests it is.

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... The article is somewhat promotional, but the topic looks to be notable. See my reasoning at the concurrent AfD discussion for this topic at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Wyrd (company), Thanks, --Mark viking (talk) 06:30, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of Primary sources-tag?[edit]

Could the Primary sources-tag be removed? The article now refers to secondary sources like TTabletop Gaming News, Plastics Today and Moldmaking Technology. Oslomin (talk) 10:10, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done - while the external sources may not be the BBC or Wall Street Journal, they're a great improvement on what was there before. Thanks! Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 13:14, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
