Plot Synopsis[edit]

The synopsis is far too long and gives too much detail (see CMOS PLOT). A synopsis is meant to be a brief summary, and should not "serve as a substitute for the reading of the actual story". Only the first chapter (of fourteen) has been released, and already the synopsis is huge. The Last Day Dawns (talk) 07:24, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The synopsis at present is a decent size, similar to Marvel's Siege or Secret Invasion pages. Once the entire storyline has been released the entire thing can be trimmed down to a more manageable size similar to House Of M or X-Men: Messiah Complex. And about the first chapter it is the setup for the entire storyline and so there isn't much that could feasibly be taken out of it. Garhdo (talk) 22:00, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Garhdo. For the time being things should be kept the way they are. It's better, for the moment, to have too much information than to little. The article can always be trimmed down and adjusted once the story concludes. This has been done on other articles also and has seemed to work out good in the end. If to much is removed, it may read kind of confusing for some that are trying to follow the story. An example of to much being taken out of something would be on Cable's (X-Men) article. It had an indepth character description and then it was reduced to pretty much nothing with the exception of publication history, which was pretty confusing upon reading. Rather than just reword what was written on that entry, someone deleted all of his past with the reason being that when it was written Wikipedia didn't have clearly defined guidlines, which is fine, but by deleting most of the article dealing with the characters past, how is one supposed to make the proper changes without a frame of reference. The information in the article for Cable was very accurate as is this for the time being. I know I kind of went off track there but I wanted to show a frame of reference. This is a dire article and should be stubbed. If I have the time I'll turn the flamethrowers on it tomorrow. --Cameron Scott (talk) 12:10, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vandals and Semi-Protection[edit]

With the recent over abundance of vandalism on this page, might it warrant semi-protection of some sort? Along this line, if someone knows how to request semi-protection and would like to share, I'm a bit clueless on that process. Jeremiah McGowan (talk) 22:06, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Injuries and Fatalities[edit]

Should this section be here? It feels like a trivia section and all the information can also be pulled out of the plot synopsis. IchiGhost (talk) 20:05, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Could be nice to make the comic book section at bottom more clickable[edit]

As it is now, when you attempt to click on a comic book title based around some character's name, you are sent to the wiki article of .... that character. NOT the comic book. Please change thanks
