Suggested improvements[edit]

As someone entirely ignorant of this subject, there's a bunch of stuff I think the article would benefit from:

  • Link from (with appropriate text explaining why) the James Oglethorpe article
  • A basic description of the bluff (height? cliffs? steep?)
  • Explain why this location was where the meeting took place
  • Explain better, in terms of modern geography (and particularly to someone unfamiliar with the state) the location of the Bluff. Is it in the modern city of Savannah, near it, or where?
  • Determine the geographical coordinates (lat/long) and add a {{Coord}} template.
  • Is it a local, state, national, or UNESCO registered monument or historic site? For example, we have California Historical Landmark and related lists and categories.
  • Has anything else of any note ever happened at this location since? Historical re-enactments? Political rallies? Riots? Rock concerts?
  • A photograph of the bluff, from the bluff, or of the historical marker(s) there would be good too.

I hope this doesn't sound too much like a list of petulant demands, for what is a pretty decent starter article :) -- Finlay McWalterTalk 23:11, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
