Suggestion of merge with Yamaha Venture Royale[edit]
Looking at the 2 articles, they look very similar, but I don't know enough about the subject - does anyone know if Yamaha Venture Royale is a version/special edition/etc of the Yamaha Venture. If so, and given that 1 good article is better than 2 poor ones, perhaps a merge may be a good idea ? Davidprior 14:30, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
I had the chance to ride a Venture back in 1986. Wow. I still remember that night. Even though I've had two V-Maxes since (both 1985's) I have never forgotten the Venture. Now that I am older and the speed freak in me is gone I may pick up an old Venture. They rock.
Yamaha Venture Royale now redirects to this page. Technically the Venture and the Venture Royale were slightly different, with the Royale model coming with more extras than the Venture. I believe that this only lasted a couple of years (MK I). By the last few years of the MK II VR they came with pretty much everything.
