September 2010[edit]

This article is not comprehensive. The WR250F was first produced in 2001 and has been modified many times since then. This article focuses on a specific variant from the 2009/2010 product line. I ♥ ♪♫ (talk) 12:46, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011[edit]

This page is about as far in error as one could ask. The WR250R/X models are NOT a street legal variant of the WR250F. They do not share the same motor, frame, front forks, rear suspension, etc. The WR250R/X models are a unique model of Yamaha dual sport motorcycle not intended for racing which stand on their own. This error in titling explains the previous commentator's post, and has been brought to Wiki's attention under the "WikiProject Motorcycling" 'New Section" page, as per the advice from on line chat. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.180.28.128 (talkcontribs)
