It seems likely his ethnicity is Algerian and Greek but a source is needed. The name "Yannis" is definitely Greek and "Tafer" seems to be Algerian plus Aziz Tafer is also Algerian. Spiderone (talk) 12:09, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Spiderone - since the information is currently unsourced, I've removed it until it can be cited reliably. Better to be certain than to keep possibly incorrect info in the lede. If a reliable source is found, it should be worked into the body of the article as MOS:BIO states that ethnicity should generally be avoided in the lede.
