Ya'qub BegYaqub Aq Qoyunlu – There were clearly multiple "Yaqub Beg"s in history, one being Yakub Beg, which is currently almost identical to the title of this article. Other homonymous historical people include the rulers of Germiyan, Yakub I of Germiyan and Yakub II: [1] The dynasty of "Ya'qub Beg", which is "Aq Qoyunlu," should be included in the title in one form or another for disambiguation. Moreover, "Yaqub Aq Qoyunlu" is not an unprecedented combination in academia: [2][3] Aintabli (talk) 23:10, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak support I do agree that "Ya'qub Beg" is used for a lot of other figures and definitely ambiguous. However, I am not sure "Yaqub Aq Qoyunlu" is necessarily the best alternative. I have also seen "Yaqub Beg Aq Qoyunlu" or "Yaqub Beg of Aq Qoyunlu" or simply "Yaqub of Aq Qoyunlu". I am putting out various options on the table, not sure which is best. Yaqub Aq Qoyunlu appears to be more common on Google Scholar:
    Yaqub Beg Aq Qoyunlu --> 0 results
    Yaqub Beg of Aq Qoyunlu --> 0 results
    Yaqub of Aq Qoyunlu --> 0 results Aintabli (talk) 14:09, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Agree with Walrasiad. Support in principle, but I'm not sure the actual proposal is the best. Srnec (talk) 17:11, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
