this article should be deleted[edit]

It does not cite ANY outside sources. The three outside links refer to personal pages for the organizations and a dojo this man has. The ONLY sourced information is his birthday!!! There is no way to validate the accuracy of the claims here. It is almost as if someone that is part of this organization wrote or maybe mr. Yoshimitsu himself.

Also, if there is no validation of any of the data here, this article may be misinforming a good number of people and possibly may lack significance, since this is only a man who owns a dojo and is part of a larger organization.??? I think you should at least post the warning here.

this article needs a clean up[edit]

There are a lot of audacious claims in here that are not validated, the article needs more OUTSIDE sources. The quatations section serves no informational purpose and should be deleted. Also, "has been heard to say" is not a quotation. Has been heard by whom? Where is the proof???

notability[edit]

This article lacks notability and lacks resources —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.204.42.79 (talk) 18:15, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sources needed[edit]

Sources needed. Especially for the quotes page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.102.131.217 (talk) 04:40, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Category:American aikidoka[edit]

I removed Category:American aikidoka until we have a source that says he has naturalized as a US citizen. Heroeswithmetaphors (talk) 02:59, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to see this reverted. The requirement of documentation of citizenship does not make sense to me. If a person warants a wikipedia article because they teach something, the country in which they have spent numerous documented decades teaching is obviously the more relevant category. Sources - again[edit]

If reliable sources (and citation needed is not a source) are not added to this article very soon, it's headed to Afd. – ukexpat (talk) 17:33, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
