Ray LaMontagne different song, same title[edit]

Note that the article currently claims a 2008 "version" of this song was released by Ray LaMontagne. But the Ray LaMontagne song appears to simply just be a different song, really with only the title in common. 129.252.69.147 (talk) 18:39, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Relationship Between Gladys Knight/Pips and The Persuaders Versions[edit]

I have edited the The Persuaders section of the main article. I ordinarily wouldn't comment on the talk page for such an edit but the current article text seems so confident, yet (seemingly) incorrect:

Also, earlier in 1974, the same year that Gladys Knight & The Pips recorded the song, The Persuaders also recorded a version

The infobox for the Gladys Knight version in this very article says the song was recorded in 1973, The corresponding Gladys Knight album article and external discogs and rateyourmusic pages) all say the Gladys Knight & the Pips album containing this song was released in 1973. If these sources are correct, the 1974 version by The Persuaders could not have been released in the same year as the Gladys Knight & The Pips version (i.e., 1973).

For the same reason, I have removed the text:

It was released before the Pips' version as ATCO single # 45-6596
