Visconti and Maslin[edit]

Would someone please include info about Visconti flying back to London late 1974, then Bowie wanting to record with Lennon so Bowie hired Maslin to produce? Should be in Visconti’ autobiography or other reliable sources. Thanks. - Design (talk) 05:20, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also the sessions with Maslin were Bowie’s first recordings with Dennis Davis, which is significant. -Design (talk) 00:42, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Visconti was particularly thrilled to be working with fellow bassist Willie Weeks - a guy who was very talked about at the time. I recall reading in some Bowie biography how Bowie called Visconti, who was in London, late at night (in early August) and explained what he was up to. "As soon as Visconti heard Wilie Weeks was in the studio he agreed to catch the next plane across the Atlantic". :) 195.67.149.161 (talk) 15:27, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
