In any event, it was not sourced nor has it ever been. If you know of a good citation for this section, please add to the article lest this History section be deleted. Substituting major rewrite[edit]

The tags at the top of the page called my attention to the fact that much of the article was based on the writers' personal knowledge of the area and were not sourced, so I took the time to do some research, and I wrote a new version in a sandbox and then moved it over.
