Note[edit]

It seems to me there's a major contradiction in this article.

The first paragraph says: "It is loosely based upon the 1810 novel Zastrozzi: A Romance by Percy Bysshe Shelley."

In the second paragraph: "The major characters and the plot of the play are nearly identical with the 1810 novel by Percy Bysshe Shelley."

The rest of the article repeats that the characters and plot are the same as the novel, and emphasizes other similarities of novel and play.

However, the published script includes this note:

"This play is not an adaptation of the novel Zastrozzi by Shelley. The author read a brief description of this novel in a biography of Shelley and that provided the inspiration for ZASTROZZI (The Master of Discipline) -- something quite different from the Shelley novel."

I'm pointing out this discrepancy but I don't know how to resolve it.
