Inaccurate plot description[edit]

There seem to be many incorrect statements in the Plot section. The son for instance had married into the family of a government mint official named Goto and was embezzling quantities of gold. He sent the gold to his father who, unknown to both sons, was having it hidden inside the Jizo statues. The government had sent multiple spies to try to find the gold they suspected had gone to the village. One of these was the yojimbo Daisaku Sasa character played by Mifune and the other was the Kuzuryu character with the pistol. They were both attracted by the thought of stealing the gold for themselves, but it was Daisaku Sasa who wanted to collect the 100 ryo for Zatoichi. Zatoichi had been to the town three years earlier, but there was nothing to indicate it had been his hometown. — ★Parsa ☞ talk 06:11, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
