Notability[edit]

This really is just a single school of local note only. Actually well written but just one of many similar schools.Peter Rehse (talk) 04:07, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree completely, but that does not mean it isn't notable. This was already discussed a while back on the COI noticeboard (I attend this school), but it was decided that it was okay because I disclosed my affiliation with the subject, and it is covered in reliable sources. The tag itself asks for reliable coverage, and this has already been provided. Just because it is an individual school does not mean it isn't notable. As a note, The Berkshire Eagle reaches all of Berkshire County, other parts of greater Western Massachusetts, and even parts of nearby New York, so it is a highly reliable regional news source. Berkshires' Best Buys Business & Beyond reaches the entire county, so it also is not simply a small, local source. PCTV is the only source that is strictly local.--¿3family6 contribs 12:33, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps a little more on why the school is notable. Being a member of a larger organization does not make something noteworthy but producing competitors that do well internationally would. As I said I think the article is well written (and sourced) just that a whole series of dojo and dojo clusters have been deleted of late. Of course most of those were poorly written.Peter Rehse (talk) 14:00, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I can probably reword some of the article to demonstrate its notability. Thanks for alerting me that it needs improvement.--¿3family6 contribs 00:31, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Great - that really was my only intent. CheersPeter Rehse (talk) 00:36, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
