Single or EP?

There seems to be a clash here... so, is Zero a Single or an EP? Because it's sorta saying both... -- Underwater 01:54, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

That's the thing; it kind of was both. As far as I know, it was an EP marketed as a single... or sort of maxi-single, I guess. It is a single, but as far as length goes, it's an EP (if not long enough to be an album). So.... that doesn't really help the problem, but that's my take on it. Folkor 07:11, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

I think we should treat this as an EP, meaning using an album infobox, renaming to Zero (EP) and so forth, as it has a running time over 40 minutes. Any objections? --PEJL 15:42, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

I remember buying this "EP" seperate from Aeroplane Flies High (at which point I had 2 copies effectively). However.. I can not seem to find any reference to Zero as an EP anywhere that does not also use the loose term to describe the 1979, 33, etc. maxi-singles that made up aeroplane. these all seem to qualify as both maxi-singles (because they have more than an A and B side playlist), as well as EP's (due to length between single and Long-Play). It seems Zero gets some bonus points because of the added length of Pistachio Medley, but there appears to be no credible reference calling it an EP and not the other 4 "singles" from MCIS. For lack of more information, I have to side with the Maxi-Single camp.. because quite simply, the disc was never promoted as anything other than a single. And if it qualifies to be called either one, i have to look at the band's intent, and I have nothing showing me the release being promoted as anything other than a maxi-single. I am happy to be wrong, but many pumpkins pages will have to be revised in the discography section that trails each one. --ArcticEE (talk) 05:36, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
