sold as Hostess, too[edit]

Noting past revisions on this article arguing otherwise, Zingers are indeed marketed under the Hostess name in addition to Dolly Madison. I'm confused as to why the Hostess and Dolly Madison websites have no indication of this, but in my area I haven't even seen Zingers under Dolly, only Hostess. I think the article should note Zingers are sold under both brands, varying by region, but I'm afraid that simply editing the article to say so will cause someone to undo it without doing any research (yet again). I'm glad this information is listed here... although I am curious about how this situation (a single brand being sold by two different companies) came to be. Someone who knows should please add this information to the article. brain (talk) 17:04, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Coconut zingers[edit]

There have been coconut zingers. I do not know if they exist anymore since I have not been to places with Zingers in a long time. But they did exist at one point. They were pink and were covered with pink and maybe white too shredded coconut. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.166.153.36 (talk) 01:55, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The raspberry Zingers are actually covered in coconut, and because of the raspberry-flavored gel (syrup?) on the outside, the coconut can take a pinkish hue. Shatteredshards (talk) 00:20, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Raspberry Zingers[edit]

We have been unable to find Raspberry Zingers in the markets anymore. I'm wonderng if they are available anywhere. How can I find this out? no one seems to know. They are a favorite of my family and the kids miss them.74.65.64.83 (talk) 21:27, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Used to love these back in the 80s - remember the vending machine in the breakroom where we worked had them — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:801:4280:A710:F5B0:E168:9713:A62F (talk) 18:07, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

White icing swirl[edit]

Zingers used to have a white icing swirl like the cupcakes, but at some point (IIRC in the 1980's) it was removed from both products. The swirl was eventually returned to the cupcakes but has not yet been returned to the Zingers. Bizzybody (talk) 05:57, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Icing on the top[edit]

Recently, an anonymous editor has repeatedly changed the article to say the icing is on the bottom. They don't use edit summaries or otherwise explain. ALL of the company's photos and packaging show the icing on top. I suppose we'll need page protection if this nonsense continues. - SummerPhDv2.0 15:29, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

So page protection it is. - SummerPhDv2.0 17:16, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
