Taqiabad-e Kan Kot (Persian: تقی‌آباد کن‌کت), also Romanized as Taqīābād-e Kan Kot,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Itivand-e Shomali Rural District of Itivand District, Delfan County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 194 in 32 households, when it was in Kakavand District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 201 people in 43 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 382 people in 106 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

In March 2022, Itivand-e Jonubi Rural District and Itivand-e Shomali Rural District were separated from the district in the establishment of Itivand District, which was divided into two rural districts.[7]
