2022 Ticketmaster controversy

Created by Ronherry (talk). Self-nominated at 06:37, 3 December 2022 (UTC).

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Article and hook satisfy all criteria for DYK, though Earwig detects a rather high copyvio score, due in large part to the sourced quotes. Otherwise, I see no reason to approve this hook as soon as QPQ has been satisfied. JJonahJackalope (talk) 18:44, 3 December 2022 (UTC)

@Ronherry: pinging in case you didn't see this. If you can't get QPQ then I would be willing to sponsor this with one of mine...I've got a surplus of QPQ reviews. --TheSandDoctor Talk 18:26, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
@TheSandDoctor: This is the first time I'm nominating an article for DYK. @JJonahJackalope: I thought the first five nominations are free of QPQ? Am I right? If not, please help me out on how this should work. Thanks. ℛonherry 20:15, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
@TheSandDoctor: And thank you for tagging me here. I had no idea I had received a response. And yes, I think I'd like you to sponsor it. Thank you. ℛonherry 20:18, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
Ronherry sorry about that, didn't realize this was your first DYK nom, approving this now. -JJonahJackalope (talk) 21:37, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
JJonahJackalope That's okay! Thank you. ℛonherry 05:24, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
@Ronherry and JJonahJackalope: I'm seeing quite a few citations to Business Insider; given its status as RSP-yellowlit, could you talk to me about its reliability for a high-profile controversy like this one? theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 11:06, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
@Theleekycauldron: There were six different Business Insider sources in the article, five of which have been replaced with sources from other publications. ℛonherry 11:55, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
Since the last one is a direct quote, looks good to me – thanks! theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 11:57, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
