  • These four articles are new enough and three of them are amply long enough. The fourth is 1445 bytes but I feel it would be churlish to make an issue of this. The hook is interesting and well referenced. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 21:11, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Cwmhiraeth, I don't see why it's churlish to request that an article meet minimum standards. If it turns out not to be possible, that's the time to decide whether this is a WP:IAR situation or a case where the short article is unbolded. These four authors have thousands of DYK nominations between them; I'm sure the article was supposed to be long enough. If it were me, I'd want to be sure my article met the length requirements.
