Aditya Raj Kapoor[edit]

  • ... that Indian film actor and director Aditya Raj Kapoor made his debut with the 2010 film Chase?
  • ... that Indian film actor and director Aditya Raj Kapoor's company has developed amusement parks in Mumbai and Delhi?

  • QPQ, Copy vio are fine. No obvious plagiarism. However, the article needs basic copy editing and trimming of impertinent content (sister's name, mother's death etc). The reference cited for the hook on his debut movie doesn't actually mention the fact. It in fact refers to his previous "walk-on parts" in other films. ALT2 is supported by the given reference. Correct these and it should be GTG, methinks. Ashwin147 (talk) 17:28, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
  • Thanks for your review. I have copy-edited the article and removed unnecessary content. I have struck the original hook as it is factually inaccurate. Thanks.--Skr15081997 (talk) 04:00, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
  • "first important role as an actor" - needs citation; the current citation says its his second role as a villain. Also, Kapoor plays the prostitute lover in Mumbai 118 according to the source cited - do correct. Also needed is a citation for the movies that you've listed after Satyam Shivam Sundaram. • I have corrected the info about his role. No reliable sources were found that say that he was assistant director in those film. I got this info from Kapoor's IMDb page. It is hard to find reliable sources which list the complete cast of a 20th century Indian film, let alone present the whole production team. Thanks for your review.--Skr15081997 (talk) 10:08, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
  • I've added sources for your claim on Chase being his first important role as an actor and added references for three of the movies he assisted with. Also added links for some of his more recent work. I'd like to propose an ALT hook: ... that Delhi's Appu Ghar was developed by the Indian film actor and director Aditya Raj Kapoor's company?. The current hook I think is rather bland. Also I'd like this nomination to get a new reviewer since I've now made edits to the article. [Also, how do you get the citation bot to act?- would be a useful thing you could teach me, Skr.] Cheers!Ashwin147 (talk) 12:19, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
  • Skr15081997 2059 B. Article created by Derevation on December 5, 2014. No copyvio. The current hook suggests that Appu Ghar was created by Kapoor's amusement park company, which is not true. It only constructed some part of the park, since it was created in 1984; long before Kapoor was in the business. The 2010 reference says: "For the last 15 years he has been into the construction business and developed amusement parks like the popular Appu Ghar in New Delhi and Fantasy Land in Mumbai." Add the word "construction". Redtigerxyz Talk 19:05, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
Skr15081997 Does it develop only amusement parks? It is a construction company, that developed amusement parks. --Redtigerxyz Talk 05:30, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
I passing it in past tense. If present tense is to be used, a reference that the company in currently in amusement park construction is needed. Redtigerxyz Talk 09:59, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
