Carry Back[edit]

  • 5x expansion checks out, spot checks did not find evidence of "too close to sources", hook fact is verified against source, and QPQ done. Just one minor issue: While a source refers to his first stint at stud as a retirement, the article does not indicate that he was "retired." From the article, the reader could conclude that he spent time at stud, but was not yet really considered to be retired from racing. Either change the wording of the article to incorporate wording related to "retired" or change the hook to avoid that word. --Orlady (talk) 13:58, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Thanks for pointing this out. I have added a little more detail and a ref to the last paragraph of the "1962: four-year-old season" which makes it clear (hopefully) that the "Farewell" ceremony at Tropical Park was definitely meant to mark the horse's final retirement from racing. Tigerboy1966  20:23, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Looks good now. --Orlady (talk) 05:33, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
