Corruption in Afghanistan[edit]

  • ALT1...that U.S. officials have been aware of Corruption in Afghanistan for some time, but have largely avoided combatting it?
  • ALT2...that the Karzai government of Afghanistan attempted to levy a $1000 toll on all U.S. military vehicles entering or exiting the country, despite the U.S. military's defense of his government?
  • ALT3...Ashraf Ghani's campaign for the Afghan presidency was based largely on combatting Corruption in Afghanistan?
  • ALT4...Afghan government officials had been skimming so much form police salaries that when a new digital system of payment was set up for police they all believed they had been given a raise?
  • ALT5...that upon a new digital payment system being adopted for Afghan police salaries, they assumed they had been given a raise since government ministers were no longer skimming from their paychecks?

  • Great effort!. Expansion, quality, qpq, NPOV, reffing ok (sample checked). Earwig detects only Wikipedia mirrors and quotes. All hooks check out - ALTs 4 & 5 perhaps best. ALT2 is a tad off-topic. Lead is too long per WP:LEAD, otherwise should easily pass GA. Too many short paras lower down too. Johnbod (talk) 19:00, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
