  • Very new at time of nomination and long enough, not plagiarising its (online) sources and laid out WP-encyclopedically. QPQ done. Neutral: in particular the religious mention is attributed OK and the whole article is thoroughly referenced. The reference for the date of birth (1) looks weak to me but reference (2) does this as well and seems preferable. Looking at the references for the hook, reference (5) is itself citing to citifmonline.com but I'm finding a report directly at Citi FM online and I see Citi FM (Ghana) being treated as reputable by newspapers I know about. Reference (6) is a news aggregator citing Daily Guide (Ghana) and that also looks OK. Anyway, the article reads perfectly well to me and it's really my problem that I am just not familiar with newspapers in Ghana. All the hooks are OK by me (I see the problem that there has more recently been a younger parliamentarian). I'd be happy to go with the first hook if that's what you would prefer.   • Reviewer here again. The first hook and ALT1 refer to Asiamah as Minister for Sports but the article given as reference, although headlined and led in this way, further down says "Asiamah will be vetted by the Appointments Committee and if he passes, he will be confirmed for the new job.". I have found a later government press release http://moys.gov.gh/moys/?p=1431 (archived) confirming that he is now minister. I suggest adding a suitable reference. ALT2 and ALT3 don't seem to have this problem. Sorry for missing this earlier. Thincat (talk) 06:59, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
  • After adding the ref for his becoming minister, you can make a better hook:
