Comment: The articles were copied and pasted from userspace to mainspace on 9 August 2021. Apologies, I shall not be available during the next week or two, to answer questions etc. I have created this nomination now, so as not to miss the date-window.

Overall: Both articles are new enough, long enough and well sourced. The hook is cited and interesting. I reversed the word order in ALT1 to make it flow better but no major changes are needed. Earwig does not turn up any copyvio besides block quotes. There's just two small issues with the nomination before it can be approved. The first is that the photo is not clear enough, the main photo from the Armley Hippo article would work much better. The second is that this is a double nomination, so two qpqs are needed.
