- Thanks for the suggestion. While the Jinping-I dam is the world's tallest, it's not as directly related to the article since it sits on the edge of the mountains. The Jinping-II dam, on the other hand, actually diverts water completely under the mountains which is not only more directly related to the article but is also quite unique for a hydroelectric project.
