Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: No - for ALT0, would suggest slight addition for clarity of "president:

ALT2: ... that as president of Loyola College in Maryland, John F. Quirk became close friends with the cardinal who ordained him a priest ten years earlier? Source: "Obituary: Father John F. Quirk". Woodstock Letters. 53 (3): 386. October 1924 – via Jesuit Online Library.

QPQ: Done.

Overall: for propercitations, y ALT0, AGF ALT1, good to go, with hook options Bogger (talk) 14:50, 15 September 2023 (UTC)

@Ergo Sum and Bogger:I guess ALT0 is the more interesting of the hooks. I find the modified ALT will work as more specific, ALT0 does not say what he was president of. The hooks do not really interest me but I know that it can be subjective. The bit about the person "and was a confessor at the College of the Holy Cross for one year" interested me. Since it is subjective I will promote the approved. Lightburst (talk) 18:57, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
