Karl-Gottfried Normann[edit]

Nordmann as a Luftwaffe officer

Improved to Good Article status by MisterBee1966 (talk). Self nominated at 18:09, 17 October 2014 (UTC).

  • I'm not sure an article on someone not primarily known for his Nazi past should be shown in the infobox in a Luftwaffe uniform. To some extent that that unsureness carries over to the hook, and I'd like to hear other editors' views on that. (On the whole I think the hook is OK.) EEng (talk) 04:00, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
    • Luftwaffe means air force. The present day air force is also called the Luftwaffe. MisterBee writes great articles on Knight's Cross winners; I anticipate seeing this one on the main page as TFA. Article is long enough (8,493 characters), new enough (promoted to Good Article status on 17 October 2014), fully referenced. Hook and ALT1 fine, verified against online source. Image fine, appropriately licensed (thank you Bundesarchiv!) Good to go! Hawkeye7 (talk) 21:42, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
I defer to your judgment. EEng (talk) 22:36, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
