  • Cannot locate precisely where citations are to hook content. It's kind of implied, but I'd like to see precisely where the cite is that women created the team and that it is completely independent. It seems to be buried within the text. Montanabw(talk) 22:51, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
Modified text a bit but says: "In 1993, this popularity led to the creation of the female run Kenya Women's Football Federation, who organised a national team that represented the country several times in international tournaments between its founding and 1996. In 1996, the Kenya Women's Football Federation folded under pressure from FIFA and women's football was subsumed by the Kenya Football Federation, with women being represented in the organisation as a subcommittee." This I believe supports the proposed hook. --LauraHale (talk) 23:03, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Poke poke poke. Follow up to see if it passes now? --LauraHale (talk) 11:58, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, gone over the weekend. Maybe beat us over the head just a little bit harder by saying something as obvious as "women created the female run ..." Not sure the rest of the paragraph quite makes clear the "independent of the male..." part of the hook -- perhaps knock us a little harder over the head about that too? Proposed alt to deal with that. --LauraHale (talk) 23:05, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
