Lillian Lawrence[edit]

  • ... that in the first 16 years of her acting career, Lillian Lawrence (pictured) had appeared in over 300 operatic and 500 dramatic roles?

  • Date of creation, QPQ and article length look good. Inline citations are used, appears neutral, and no plagiarism has been detected. Hook is interesting, formatted correctly, and sourced in the article. While the image doesn't appear in article, it is linked via Commons in the external links, is free, and renders well at 100 by 100 pixels. I'd say this is good to go. • If the image is not in the article, it may not be used for DYK. That's the rule. It's up to the nominator whether the article is changed to add the image or the image is removed from the nomination, but this cannot be approved as matters currently stand. The image is of the person, but the article isn't long enough to support more than one image. The one in the article is better for the infobox, but this image renders better at small sizes. I personally don't see what the problem is. For OTD, TFA, and ITN we often use images that aren't in the article for exactly this reason. Why is DYK different? Anyway, if it's a problem, then I'm fine with omitting the image. howcheng {chat} 16:43, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Have removed image (yes, it is a problem if not in article); restoring approval tick per Gobonobo. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:40, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
