Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Song of the Year[edit]

Created by Jaespinoza (talk). Self nominated at 21:36, 7 June 2014 (UTC).

  • New enough (for 7 June), long enough. QPQ done. Original hook is acceptable and short enough (but see issue 1 below). No problems with disambig links or with access to external links. Article written in objective manner and neutral style. All article images are free. Issues: (1) Original hook checks out with online citation #4 for Latin Grammy and Urban song, but I cannot find a citation for Lo Nuestro. Possible solutions are: original hook with Lo Nuestro omitted; or citation for Flex's Te Quiero winning Lo Nuestro; or new hook. (2) Citations 1-10 checked (but citations 11-22 not checked) for instances of possible copyvio or close paraphrasing; one minor example found:

tabulated and certified by the accounting firm deloitte (citation #2)

Please re-write it in your own words, or quote and cite it.
    (3) No citation at end of second paragraph. Summary: When the above 3 issues are resolved, this nom should be OK. --Storye book (talk) 14:22, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
  • Thank you, Javier Espinoza. The hook now checks out with online citations #4 and #5. All issues resolved. Note: Although the prose count barely exceeds the minimum requirement for DYK, the tables are appropriate for this type of article, and therefore compensate for the prose length. Good to go. --Storye book (talk) 09:32, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
  • Storye book, if this is truly ready, you'll need to include the appropriate approval icon before it can be promoted. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:42, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
