Mersea Island[edit]

The Strood, Mersea Island, flooded at spring tide

  • ... that the main road to Mersea Island, Essex, can flood at high tide (pictured)?

Improved to Good Article status by Ritchie333 (talk). Self nominated at 15:42, 9 December 2014 (UTC).

  • New enough (GA on December 8). Long enough, NPOV, appropriate in line citations, spotchecks don't highlight copyvio, close paraphrasing or plagiarism issues. Both hooks are within policy in regards to formatting, NPOV and in line citation. I prefer the quirkiness of ALT1. QPQ present so good to go. If ALT0 is chosen, Image is CC SA 2.0, is present in the article, has rollover text, clear at 100x100 and relevant to hook/article. Cowlibob (talk) 11:55, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
