"[English]: By then Raulito was 15 years old, but he had already rubbed shoulders with his father's activities [in the Sinaloa Cartel] and had been awakened by the dream of being as "big" as he was. Photographs of the "Mini 6" abound with AK-47 disc rifles on his shoulder that he can barely carry in his young arms, many of which were uploaded to social networks by him and his friends, where most of the comments they made revolve around how big they will be ... just like his father." • ALT1:... that pictures of suspected 18-year-old assassin Raúl Meza Torres inspired other teenagers in Mexico to join organized crime?
    • Source: "[English]: Although he was killed in 2010, César Raúl Meza Torres' [pictures, as shown in the source] inspired other young narco recruits" (The Houston Chronicle)

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Well written and interesting article. I think both hooks are ok, though I think ALT1 is a little bit better. Applodion (talk) 07:27, 24 September 2018 (UTC)

  • Your QPQ submission does not appear to be a full review. Yoninah (talk) 19:45, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: Would you mind being more clear? I posted in the nomination page twice (first with a "Maybe" tick and then with the "Approved" tick). In my first post, I did a full review but requested the nominator to address a "Citation needed" tag that I added. I eventually found the source for it as I copyedited the article and decided to approve the nomination. MX () 20:43, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
  • Oosh, I missed that. Sorry. This nom is ready to go. Yoninah (talk) 20:46, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
