Source: "The seven‐performance festival, devoted exclusively to the composer's works, will have 20 premieres. The project was conceived and supervised by Mr. Balanchine following Stravinsky's death." ([1]) "At the opening of last night's Stravinsky Festival performance, the temperature subtly lowered. Balanchine's “Scherzo A la Russe” is a slight joke but warm one." ([2])
