5x expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self-nominated at 07:28, 14 November 2016 (UTC).

  • The article is newly expanded and long enough. It is neutral and uses inline citations. There do not seem to be major copyright violations, but there seems to be close paraphrasing. "In sandy and black soils of savannas and woodlands of southern Kenya, throughout Tanzania, and parts of southeastern Zaire to central Mozambique and Malawi" in the article is similar to "in the sandy soils of savannas and woodlands of southern Kenya, throughout Tanzania and parts of southeastern Zaire, to central Mozambique" in the source. The article states the gestation period as between 90 and 105 days, but it is 87 to 101 days in the cited source. The source also does not seem to state that the feeding passage runs parallel with the surface. The hook is short enough and cited. The nominator has done QPQ. There are some issues that need to be addressed. Gulumeemee (talk) 06:30, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
@Gulumeemee: Thank you. If you look at the history of the article you will see that the offending sentence pre-dates my involvement with the article. Anyway, I have rephrased the lead, and altered the gestation period which must have come from a different source which I didn't then cite. The feeding passages average 47 metres in length and are stated to be at a depth of 12 to 23 mm, and I think "running parallel to the surface" describes this quite well. Thanks for the changes and explanation. "Running parallel to the surface" is probably a good description. I forgot to review the image, so I am adding a review. It is used in the article. It is freely licensed because it comes from PLOS ONE. The article should be good to go now. Gulumeemee (talk) 08:02, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
