Improved to Good Article status by Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk). Self-nominated at 12:17, 10 June 2018 (UTC).

  • New enough, promoted to GA 2 days before nomination. More than seven times long enough, not surprising for a GA. Article written in neutral manner, unlike the usual promotional dross we get about volcanoes. Each section has inline citations to reliable sources. Earwig wouldn't return anything but for the phrase "Southern Volcanic Zone of the Andes" which can not be otherwise stated. No other close paraphrasing or copyvio found. Hook is easily within formatting guidelines, and is generally interesting, but particularly when combined with the image. Offline (to me) source is directly cited, and AGF here is not the slightest stretch. QPQ complete. Copyright status of image ok, CC. This Good Article deserves main page exposure. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 16:42, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
