Strandzha Nature Park[edit]

A view of Strandzha Nature Park

  • ... that Bulgaria's Strandzha Nature Park (pictured) protects the last remaining temperate forests with evergreen laurel undergrowth in Europe, as well as traditional local customs, such as the fire-walking ritual Nestinarstvo?

  • Hook is over 200 characters. Yoninah (talk) 19:39, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
All right, I have modified it, although it is less informative now:
  • A DYK hook is not meant to be informative; it's meant to "hook" the reader into clicking on the article. Perhaps there's something more "hooky" in the article? Yoninah (talk) 01:46, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
Here are two other suggestions:
  • ALT3: ... that spanning a territory of 1,161 km², Strandzha Nature Park (pictured) is the largest protected area in Bulgaria, covering over 1% of the nation's territory? Gligan (talk) 15:53, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
  • Thank you. Ready for review. Yoninah (talk) 19:37, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
  • Right then, age and size fine. Hook sourced, website source looks ok but google translate not popping up for me. Never mind - did it - in source. Earwig's tool, throws up some interesting results, first is a false positive and second has some specific phrases. I think we're good to go. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 14:01, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
