The Stone Sky[edit]

  • ... that N. K. Jemisin's The Stone Sky has been favorably compared to works by famed science fiction authors Ursula K. Le Guin and William Gibson? Source: "Every now and again there comes a work that seeks to redefine the face of genre literature, from Ursula K. Le Guin's The Left Hand of Darkness to William Gibson's Neuromancer. With the Broken Earth trilogy, Jemisin has made a place for herself among these greats, pulling off a landmark story that blends fantasy, science fiction, and post-apocalyptic tropes." [1]

  • Two days late, but could be worse. Long enough, no copyvios seen, hooks check out. QPQ needed. The article is quite plot heavy, and could do with citations in "Setting" if possible (citation to the relevant pages of the book under "Plot" could also be helpful), and an expanded lead. --Usernameunique (talk) 06:55, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
  • Comment: I don't something written can be compared to a person. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:30, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
  • @The ed17: Can you complete your QPQ and resolve the issues with the article (plot citations, expanded lead)? --Usernameunique (talk) 00:14, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
  • @Usernameunique: My apologies, I hadn't added this page to my watchlist and therefore didn't see your comment. Will circle back asap. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 05:40, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
  • QPQ done. Plot trimming to come. I should be able to find sources for the setting. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 05:19, 7 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Hey The ed17, just a friendly reminder that some extra citations and plot trimming are needed. Thanks, --Usernameunique (talk) 21:23, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks The ed17, that looks much better. Approving ALT0 and ALT1. The uncited paragraphs all relate to the plot and setting of the book, so I don't believe citations are technically needed. --Usernameunique (talk) 19:16, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
