Trudeliese Schmidt[edit]

Content is solid, facts are referenced. (Sources are in German but they check out.) An unusual part of opera so interesting to cover someone who did this kind of comic role as well as more solemn music. It might have been nice to dig a little deeper into her career - I would have liked the article to quote the Die Welt opinion that her stage presence did not translate well to recordings as that could explain why she might be less well-known to people outside Europe.
